What can cause a P0011 code besides bad guides?

I dropped the oil pan and it was clean, and looked up and everything seemed normal. Blitzkrieg idles fine and runs to the redline up to 128 without a sweat. I tried a battery nap, but it came back. Any suggestions?


It's bank 1 intake over advanced timing.

cam position sensor, swap them to see if the code follows

could also be the vanos solenoid, but not likely

The CEL went off when I started the car this afternoon. It's definitely one of those. I'll report back. :)
