93 318i standard. My frigging seats aren't getting hott anymore. Why I checked online and its a bunch of all over rge place. I push the button it lights up but no heat. Fuses aren't blown no breaks in the wiring

Oh yeah and neither does the passenger side heat in the seats works either

The heated mats itself have tiny metal wires in them. These break quite easily, specially the part you sit on.

Just take a DMM and measure for continuity by simply putting the probes on the 2 pins of the connector. If the DMM doesn't beep, the wiring in the mat is broken.

It's a lotof work but the heater mats can be removed and repaired. I've done it to a few and I've installed oem heaters in seats that didn't come with them

Where did you get the mats? I tested one today - no continuity. I actually have the mat exposed after taking the leather off. Hog rings are a bitch
