Tail lights e36

Ok, so I have a '92 325i and my son has a '93 325is. Are the tail lights not the same on these two? His right rear lens has a hole in it, and I bought lens's that came off a '93 352i, but they appear to be about 1/4" to tall. Are there any other differences in body parts like this? I was under the impression that parts would be interchangeable.

Your sons is a coupe? If so only coupe and convertible tail lights will work.

I kinda figured that, but just wanted to make sure. Oh well, guess the new tail lenses are ebay bound!

Coupe and sedan don't share much when it comes to exterior parts.

Bumpers, mirrors, grilles, headlights and foglights are the same that I can think of ... everything else is different.

That stuff doesn't even fit in my experience. Well it'll fit but not correctly. Well foglights will.

I misspoke on the mirrors .. just remembered the bases are different.

Why would bumpers or headlights not fit? They're the same.

When i tried the bumpers were not long enough on the sides.

Same exact part number for all body styles :dunno

I just did that too :rofl maybe the guy i bought them from bought cheap after market? Lol. Sorry for that! They'll fit!

Lol, bumpers and headlights fit, my bumper and headlight came off a couple.

But hoods, fenders, and side marker lights are different.
