So... I'm thinking about picking up an E36 sedan and was wondering how well a rear-facing convertible car seat would fit in the middle in the backseat?

Anyone using an RF convertible seat in their E36 sedan? Pics? Complaints? Etc?

I'm currently driving a 2000 Audi A4 and, according to the spec sheets, the E36 sedan has slightly more room (~1") in the back seats. Has anyone owned both and could offer an opinion?

Can't comment on the child seat as I don't have any children, but I will comment on the size difference between a A4 and e36 ... the numbers might suggest a little bit more leg room in an e36, but I honestly find the back of a A4 to be a more comfortable place to be. :dunno

Either way, switching from one to another because of space isn't something I'd even consider (unless you just want a e36 and are curious).

Haha... nope, the switch isn't for space... I was just curious about the space in the back of the E36 because I was considering the switch (if that makes sense)

:) Good to hear!

Like I said, honestly they're both small cars whichever way you slice it ... I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference. :)
