Welcome . . . .

You will feel much better about your purchase after you start to get some of those old fluids out. I have already found some interesting things after only a short time of ownership.

Not sure what that little key chain thing is. When you get more posts you can put up a pic of it. Doesn't sound OEM from your short description.

Read through this thread and see if anything sounds or looks familiar........

Run through the cooling system and other preventative maintenance & fluid changes and do the work yourself and you will really enjoy your car. They are pretty easy to work on for the most part. Also download the Bentley manual from this site. Welcome!

what do you mean run thru the cooling system? as in i assume replace with a metal water pump if it doesnt already have one? but just do a normal flush and change hoses? ive noticed that the car likes to run on the cooler side as well i barely moves of the blue and if it does it never gets higher than the first dash is that normal

no that is not normal. Your tstat is non-existent or failed open. The needle should be in the dead 12 oclock position. Replace the water pump, tstat, tstat housing (with aluminum one), hoses, expansion tank, viscous fan, and radiator if it looks questionable.

should i delete the clutch fan and install an electric fan like everyone says? i mean the fan is still flexible and not really hard and brittle ?
