quality most likely. ebay stuff tends to fade rather quickly and leaves a nasty yellow fade. just go with the germanautoparts one or oem unless you want to keep replacing them in the future.

Truth right there. The ebay roundels are cheap junk. I had a set and after two years I ended up putting the originals back on because they looked better.

I have had an eBay emblem on my hood for a couple months, and it's already peeling. $5 shipped is hard to argue with, but it isn't really worth it, unless you just want a bandaid.

I should have specified, I got some legit ones on ebay for around 15-20 bucks and they are going on 2 years still good.

ECS Tuning has OEM BMW emblems for $26.50. BMW part# 51 14 8 132 375. Same part number for both hood & trunk lid.
