I just took delivery of a 2013 328 xi (sport line, premium, cold weather, tech). I am now kicking myself for not adding the xenon lighting package. Does anyone know if you can upgrade the lights to xenon as a "dealer installed option"? I'm not concerned about the adaptive lighting, just the xenon.

PS - Participated in the delivery program at the BMW performance center in SC. Greatest experience in a car ever!!!

I thought that was standard, but maybe it's standard for 335. I'm getting 335 sport line and thought it was standard.

I'm in the same boat as you. I leased the 328xi luxury line w/o the lighting package. my 2010 328xi had it and I'm missing it. Personally i think it makes world of a difference driving at night. Even if there is an option to upgrade I won't get an OK from my wife.

Sucks guys... Yea I sometimes wish the sales guys would kick people for these obvious options... at least tell folks why they might want a feature.

Same thing happened to me with the Adaptive suspension

I got an email from a local dealership about performance light bulbs. Is it worth upgrading to that?

what does it entail? IMHO probably not as you're not really getting the full system, just the bulbs which are brighter.... that also means they burn faster so more replacements at a higher cost
