09 e90 AC/Warranty Question

I got my car detailed last night and now this morning my ac isn't working. I opened the hood and noticed that they cleaned off most of the dirt. I also noticed a slightly greasy residue on the engine.

This is probably a total coincidence, but it still makes me wonder. I have right under 34k miles, so I'm still under warranty. I've read that the ac fan/blower is known for going out. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty and how I should approach BMW with the problem?

If its under warranty, no explanation should be necessary.

Just take it in and tell the service advisor what the problem is, and have them repair it. If you or someone else has done something to cause the issue, the dealership will let you know all about it.
