Hi
As the title says, just bought a BMW today, a 2008 320i SE with full BMW service history and 60k miles on the clock.

Not had one before and unfortunately the manual was missing so I have a couple of questions....

The steering wheel and stereo have telephone symbols on them. Can I link my iphone to it?

Next to the button that locks the doors there is another one DTC ( I think). What does that do?

There appears to be two heater settings:the dial controls that have the independant digital temperatures and one at the top which is red one side and blue the other. What's the difference between the two?

I'm sure I will have some more over the next few days so please be patient!

Many thanks

Congrats on your purchase! You should be able to download the manual from BMW's website, not sure if you have to create an account first. DTC button turns your traction control on/off. You should be able to sync your iPhone with the car if you enable the Bluetooth on the phone.

They are all pretty much the same. The differences will be very minimal since BMW manuals usually include all optional equipment. Download one, and check our FAQ, if neither answers your questions, we'll gladly help.

If you have an iPad; I downloaded the .pdf of my manual from the bmw site so now i always have it in iBooks :D
You should be fine with the 08 3 series one

BT is easy; push MENU, then PHONE (it will search), then go in your phone's bluetooth setting and look for the device name that starts with BMW, then type in a pin code of your choice
