225/60/16 instead of 225/55/16 for E39 [Archive] - Bimmerforums

I have a '99 528iT and I am wondering about mounting a set of Michelins that are 225/60/16 instead of the size suggested by BMW (225/55/16). I am understand that the 225/60s have a taller side wall and hence a larger diamter (.9" according to specs). Anybody had any bad experiences using 60s instead of 55s?
