Problem installing a HOOD!!

Can anyone tell me how to install a hood ?? Because the sharp corner of the hood by the windshield side keep hitting the fender and doesn't let it go up..!!! Please any ideas ????

Is the hood on or off? Where the fenders removed and reinstalled? If off and yes, the fenders can be loosened a d moved outward to give enough room. There are the torx head screws along the top and two 10mm holds along the door jamb. Don't take them out, just loosen and pull. To install the hood, screw in the forward 10mm bolts that hold down the hinge, but leave it up, the. Slide the hinge over it and back to catch the hinge under it, then insert the rear bolt. Adjust hood and fenders for proper clearance and tighten everything down.

Thank you I'm gonna try this today .. I thought of playing with a fender but I didn't think I'd have to , since the fenders where not touched , but then again it's an after market hood .. Thank you , I'll let you know how it went ..

One more thing if I move the fender it will stick out from the distance of the door, that would be wrong????

I had this happen to me too. With all 4 bolts kinda loose, push the hood away from the fender and then tighten the bolts. Hope it helps!
