So more on one of my older posts about poor performance an hot days. As I stated in one of my older post it seemed to fuel related, perhaps a venting or pressure issue? Twice now in the last two days on start up in this hot weather, there has been a gurgling liquid noise start from the back of the car and slowly making it's way down to the front... It's loud enough to be very obvious! Take offs are very slow, especially on hills. Having the heater on full makes a massive difference on performance! temp Gage stays on halfway and has never gone over!

From the description it makes me think the fuel pump...

Maybe the fuel Pump... But why would having the heater on seem to make such a difference?

I'm gonna guess that the DME temp sensor is faulty, not the one that sends the signal to the gauge, but to the dme.

How can I test the dme temp sensor? How will this affect the running of the car on hot or cold days... I know fuel consumption is good on average to cold day and it's quite heavy on fuel on a hot day! And why would having the heater on have such an impact on acceleration?

I should say when heater is on the acceleration improves alot!!!
