Hello everyone. I have owned a 2009 335i coupe for about 5 weeks or so. It is black with saddle brown interior. It has a magnaflow exhaust (no Downpipes) and matte black wheels. It also has an m3 front bumper and a small spoiler or lip on the back. I really love the car and many people try to race me. When I punch it (on the track of course) I always win. ;)
Anyway I have a few questions.
1. How do I keep the leather in really good condition?
2. How do I take really good care of the car as a whole?
3. Will the golf tee mod do anything to a magnaflow?
4. Is there anything I should know about my car?
Any tips or comments are greatly appreciated. This is my first BMW so I really want to take care of it and keep it in immaculate condition. It has about 38k miles.

To help the interior, have a solid quality tint with high uv and infrared protection. I have wincos on mine, my windshield tint is 99.99 percent uv protection and like 45 infrared but only gives a 15% tint so I can see through it just fine. a simple visor would suffice as well. Same goes for door windows except a lot darker of course.
A detail here and there that involves leather treatment would help some as well especially the driver seat since it gets the most wear.
Careful on cleaning the matte wheels I have matte gunmetal wheels as well and be careful the types of cleaners you use on them. Safe for painted wheels or just warm water with a few drops of dawn in it but nothing harsh

no matter how many mods or how nice rims you have, a nice car is not a nice car without a clean coat of wax/sealant!

Should it myself or pay a carwash or dealer to do it?

If you have to ask, take it to a professional detailer.

Why not just use car shampoo? It doesn't strip your wax either :)
