I am a new owner of a 2006 BMW 325XI. I am paying out of pocket for getting a bump/scratches fixed in the front bumper.

I don't have a lot of money to spend on it but should I get it repaired or replaced? The car is electric red and I fear that if I get it painted, the color may not match perfectly.

Any thoughts are appreciated :)

Unless BMW does things differently from the rest of the industry, you're going to have to have it primed and painted either way you go (parts just come e-coated if steel, and gel-coat if fiberglass or plastic,) so whichever your body man thinks is best is probably the way to do it.

New bumper on my E90 was $1,00 for the bumper, paint, install, etc.

Is that 100 or 1000?

Take it to the dealership they normally have body guys who will sand it prime it fill it and paint it for pretty cheap

...well, it was some guy in an alley. The part number was scratched off.

Just kidding, my bad, it was $1,100.
