Title says it all, I do have the obd2 light too, does this mean I have the 2 button fob?

Pull out your glovebox and look. It should be on the right side. Glovebox can be taken off in 5 minutes.

Guess I'm just trying to say if I have the single light for obd2, does that automatically mean I have the latter alarm?

OBD II and Alarm?

OBD II is a scheme for engine management/emissions control, and is separate from the alarm system.

Your '95 should be OBD I, but this production year represents the end of an era for one management system and the beginning of another. While your car should be OBD I, if it is late production then it _might_ be OBD II, but probably not.

:screwy: I know the difference between the two, I was merely stating year difference obd2=96-99 obd1=95 etc, I'm simply asking asking if having the one light means I have the newer 2 button alarm that came on the 96-99 e36's, that is all.
