For some reason Realoem.org is not listing the part number for the replacement bulbs for the Xenon headlights and is just showing a regular Long Life bulb. (or maybe I'm just not seeing it).

One of my headlights is starting to turn pink and I want to replace both with OEM replacements.

Are these the correct ones?

"Made in Germany Philips 85122+ D2S 35W xenon H.I.D headlight bulbs"

Full lising here:

Thanks for the help. My car is has a build date of 04/1999, and shows Xenon lights listed when I did the Vin Decoder.

Scroll down farther in teh Headlights pics...

It shows the prefacelift housing, parts etc FIRST...

Then the Post Facelift...

Since you have a Post...its ONLY showing you the bulbs in the Pre pics...

Im guessing you searched by VIN. :)

Any D2S bulb will work. It's best to replace them in pairs because the color temperature shifts over time. This means that it's virtually impossible to match the color temperature of the bulb -- even with the same exact brand and model.

Ok, after digging further on Real Oem after reading what IcemanBHE mentioned, and I did find them... $212.43 each... yowz! :rolleyes I'm glad there are "other" places where to get these other than at a BMW dealership!

I'll be replacing both sides. I figured if one went out, the other would follow soon after so might as well replace both , plus that color temperature factor halfwindows mentioned.. and for ~$75 for a pair shipped doesn't sound too bad now after seeing the true retail price.. lol

Thanks again for the help!

Real OEM prices are not that accurate. They are updated like once a year, and then I dont think the whole database is...

But its a good "worst case" factor.

One Pair (2) D2C D2R D2S 6000K Xenon HID Diamond-White Bulbs 35W
Price: $12.46

I just posted a question in another thread...for the passenger side low beam HID bulb is it necessary to remove the air-box to replace the bulb? Can it be done without removing the air-box?
