battery died today and after jumping it my turn signals and nav screen are not working. looked under hood and fuse panel there doesn;t seem to be the culprit/ ??? tia john

Does the cruise control work? Check and see if the blinkers are working and the indicators are just out.

Disconnect the battery while you charge it overnight. Perhaps the battery nap will cure it.

not sure about your turn signals but you fried your nav computer when you jump started the car,very common problem

I have a new battery but for future reference, how does one go about jump starting without frying the nav box?

disconnect the blue plug on the back of the nav unit

geez, how much do nav units go for?
pretty fooked up design if every time you have to jump it you blow your nav unit!!!!
