Hi guys,
I have a 2007 328xi US model with 120,000kms on it.
It came with stock halogen headlights, I took it in to replace with xenon + halo rings.
Now every 5 minutes the Red hoist car warning sign keeps popping up.
Also prior to this I was getting 14.1L/100km mileage and now it has dropped to 18.1L/100km!! Could this be related?
Could anyone help with what could possibly be wrong? Is it coding error potentially?
Also I know I am due for an oil change and washer fluid is low but that's about it.
Thx

The red hoist is the state inspection reminder, IIRC. Nothing to do with the headlights. Mileage is highly variable; have you changed your spark plugs - you're about due?

No the hoist is not the state inspection, that one has a weird squiggly symbol (p.78 here (http://cache.bmwusa.com/PDF_084c94dc-ab9c-4e75-8ac9-92038f787fff.arox?v=287bca7c-3a52-4761-9d54-84e112171feb)). The red hoist means there is a service item overdue, could be something as simple as microfilter, or something more important. A keyfob scan will tell you what is needed.
