Trade: Z3 M Shift Lever for Longer Lever

My car got a E28 Getrag when converted from auto to manual. It also got a Z3 M short shifter. With that old box and short lever, there is just too much gear change effort for my semi-gimpy right wrist when driving in urban areas.

I am not sure what other parts are needed. Does the rod going from the bottom of the lever to the trans remain the same?

Yes and I would need your lever for my local shop to install when I have the car in for driveline lube changes. I would then send the Z3 M lever to you.

Plenty notchy, it is an old E28 transmission, Getrag 265.

Z3 lever has almost 0 bend in the rod making it the shortest shift you can get.

No hate, I'm sure I would love it in a Z3 or Z4. The one I have is just being forced to stir the gears in an old E28 box with a E24 single mass flywheel in front of it and possibly the wrong slave cylinder (current investigation).

make me an offer I guess... No hate for the Z3M lever, but with the M5 shifter surround its pretty short in relation to the console. Also, my 540 has a UUC lever and its really tall, but the throw is short, I'd just like something a little taller. I've had a Z8 lever in there too, which was nice and tall, hell maybe I'll put it back in there.
