Have you guys seen this one?

A V12 has never look as good as it does inside the hood of a BMW. It’s been 25 years since the German automaker first dropped a 12-banger in the BMW 750iL and to celebrate this milestone they’ve decided to produce a very limited edition BMW 760Li in its honor. This special model comes packed with just under $17,000 worth of premium upgrades over the base version, including a plush Champagne Full Merino Leather interior with black piping, “V-12 25 Years Edition” badges on the doors, headrests, and steering wheel, and rear-seat entertainment centers. However, there are no modifications to the 535 horsepower, twin turbo engine that pumps out 550 lb-ft. of torque and is capable of propelling the car to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds thanks to 535-horsepower. Currently, BMW is only releasing 15 of these beauties in the United States beginning in early 2013, which, combined with a sticker price of $142,795, means they won’t have any trouble selling-out.

Almost slightly tacky with all the V12 badging, but I like it. :D

Now if they put it in a E38 body it would be worth owning. :D

It may just be the angle of the photo, but that car just passed the Acura TL on my "The Ugliest Car I've Ever Seen" list.

But the interior looks fantastic, except for all the V12 badges.

Almost an M7? It's just a fully loaded, limited edition 760 with special badging. It doesn't even have the M-Sport body kit or any type of performance increase.

I'd love to have one though :buttrock

Agreed; M cars are special because of performance and handling, not because of power and badges.

I've gotta admit, I didn't even know that the 760i had the V12 anymore. http://bimmers.no/forum/images/smilies/eusa_doh.gif
Thought they dumped it for the turbo-8.

Guess I've gotta read up on the F01's..

Anyway, 0-60 faster (?) than the E60 M5 is still quite impressive on a two tonne luxury car IMO. M-car or not. Besides, the M's haven't really been special since the hand made E34.

*Not AS special. I've done a lot of reading on the S63 engine, and that alone is a work of art. The amount of work M puts into the designing of the car place them well beyond the M cars of the past. However, they do seem to lack the 'driver-road' relationship the older ones had.

I do slightly agree with the hand-made issue. I wish they were still hand built, but the prices would sky-rocket and sales would drop. Coming to think of it, it doesn't make much of a difference. The E39 M5 is considered one of the best cars to come out of M GmBH.

And I'd thought I'd throw this bit in: The E60 was plagued with electrical issues(my cousin can vouch for that statement). The SMG in the M5 was also a weak link. The repair bills could buy an E38.

I do of course agree. The S63 together with the S62 are the engines
I consider to be the most interesting in BMW's cars today.

But what makes a car special? The old M's were of limited production,
and the test drivers could actually feel who's built the car when it was done.
Now it's just mass produced cars, just like all other fast cars out there.
Not hand made collectibles.

That being said, I would of course prefer the F10 M5 to any hand built old crap. :)

Yep haha. 2nd wasn't bad, 3rd I've considered owning many times. 4th TL it's like they said "hey this selling pretty well, what can we do to ^%$#it up?" How about some Jennifer Aniston horse DNA? "I'm for it"

I wonder who it's geared to.

Either a lottery winner living in a project, or a saud?

You guys really think the F01 is that nasty looking?

The new 7's aren't bad. They are growing on me. But they are big, and the long wheelbase cars are simply huge. But looks-wise, they feel a lot more like a BMW than the E65 (also growing on me, maybe Bangle was right :))

But that pic of the front end of the V12 car... just terrible. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

I think the L cars are what they should be. Like getting in a space ship. But the dimensions kill me a bit. Looks like someone bit off the back, to quote my mom when she was shopping. It's like they evolved the last generation, but ran out of ink or time when they got to the trunk/bumper.
