Hi, I was reversing the car back up the drive way and baaaam, I noticed steam going out the engine and coolant is running out of the car, looked under the car and it looks like a hole down the radiator and cooling pouring out. couple of minutes later once radiator went dry, I noticed there was a plastic screw under the car which looks like it can fit into that hole under the car. Is it a bleeding screw that I didn't know about it or I am screwed from another couple oh hundred dollars?
Please help , I have to sort it out before Monday or I am stuffed.

Did you notice if you were running within spec? Temp wise?

Everything was fine I took the car to put some air the tyre, and on my way back home, I think when I was reversing I might have hit the corner of the drive way or something, by the way it is an after market radiator, so it maybe different from the original one. I think this after market has a drain hole at the bottom and this is the screw for it, considering I installed it 5 months ago, it should have snapped that easily, luckily I was n't driving in highway or something.

Under warrenty? is the piece the plug screws into plastic and split? Are you sure it was secure when you installed and the plug didn't just work it's way out from being initially loose? I would reinstall and keep an eye on it for awhile if it were me and there seems to be nothing broken.
BTW I can't really tell but it looks like it may be missing an O-ring.

It fits in the hole at the bottom of the radiator however it is broken from somewhere cos when I put it back and try to tighten it,it won't, sent an email to the supplier, hopefully they will respond on Monday.
Errrrr, I think I am doomed.

I managed to put it back and tighten it BUT I don't believe that iy should have got loose that easily. I will drive the car for half an hour after lunch o make sure it won't happen again.
I took the car for a ride and damn, it overheated in 2 minutes, I believe I needed to take the air out, I poured more water and turned on the heater for 10 minuets and looks like it fixed it, I will take the car for a ride at night again
Where is your under engine cover?? Its a big plastic shield that protects the engine from road debris.
