Yeah...OK. Let's see you do 300 km/h in Canada, eh?

Nice video, but you can tell that the steering became lighter as they went over 170 mph. Either that or the driver was getting pretty nervous.

Our us spec cars have some kick back and pickup at ~120mph. But yes, over ~130 she gets a bit loose from my experience. The e34 540i I had didn't do that. I think with a little suspension work she'd cruise very well.

Theres a place here in the city away from traffic and people where i can open up my cars... I did 150+ in my E39 M5....wow what a rush... She kept asking for more but i backed off the throttle...

Next weekend i will see what i can safely take the E38 up to :)

E31's are very different from our other bimmers at high speeds..... My e38 is nice and stable into triple digits, and a cayman s is certainly quicker and more nimble (nervous?). But an e31 just feels like it plants itself solidly at speed. Something everyone should experience ;)

When He :cyclona Slowed Down To 106 MPH it look like he was going At Just legal highway speed. Your eyes get used to moving fast very quickly. At 180 MPH you could see the wheel moving around some:nono..........Very Cool:cool

The guy in the Volvo must have crapped his pants when he got passed by a guy doing 183 :)

Looks like you could run 180 in that thing all day long.
