Another battery drain

Hi guys,
I'm asking on behalf of someone else so accept I am going to look stupid.

1998 740i A SE - Battery was draining, garage removed fuses from phone and stereo.
Any common faults with either items (searching google as well)

Its quite common for both the phone and NAV modules not to power down like they are supposed to.

Instead of yanking the fuses for them, (As sometimes fuses power multiple things...)

Just unplug each of them to see if it corrects your drain.

No NAV. Phone and stereo (6cd boot changer) switch off with the key.
I'll look up the common phone module problem and see if that helps.
