Hi all,

first post here, just picked up a 335i coupe a few days ago. Am trolling Craigslist for winter wheels/tires before giving up and buying new... have seen a couple 17" wheel/tire packages from E46s but sellers don't list offsets nor do I really know what I need. Looking on Tire Rack it looks like E46 has a little more offset than E92 is that a huge problem? What would the actual specs be for a factory 17" wheel for each car? (of course, all the wheels that have snow tires mounted on them are aftermarket, so I'd still need to verify offset)

Also my car has 19" wheels/tires on it now, am actually thinking of "downgrading" to 18" or even 17" when the tires wear out for cost reasons and also it just looks like I'm begging for a bent rim. thoughts? thanks!

Just got a reply from one seller it is a package w/ 17x? ET45 and 225/50r17 blizzaks would like to snag them but it's only a good deal if I don't need spacers. Is 45mm too much offset for E92? Thanks!
