It has 127k on the clock and has been my college car to get me to and from school for the last 2 years.
The good:
has an LSD
Has had a full cooling system overhaul
- new water pump
- replaced radiator with an OEM unit
- new temp sensor
- new thermostat
- new fan clutch
Has had a full suspension overhaul
- Meyle upper and lower control arms with Lemfoerder bushings
- Karlyn tie rods, lemfoerder center link
- sway bar bushings and end links (i don't remember which brand i bought, will have to check pelican parts if someone needs to know)
- I think Karlyn rear pitman arms that started to wear already, have lemfoerder ones I think in my closet waiting for some place to install.
- NEX coilovers
Dinan software
Euro headlights with 6000k DDM HIDs
Euro LKM
MtechII rear spoiler
MtechII steering wheel
17" style 5's with brand new tires in July (Hankook Ventus v12) - These are the only wheels/tires I have. If you don't like them and don't want to refinish them, you're more than welcome to bring your own wheels and I'll drop the price by $600
Brakes were done about 5,000 miles ago (last October) with new pads, calipers, and rotors
Exhaust is brand new
Battery is only about 1 year old
A/C blows cold, can get overpowered if it's really hot out... it's a 20 year old compressor
Heat blows hot
Transmission shifts smooth and fluid is still fresh
I have never once had a problem with the car starting
The bad:
rust at bottom of doors, under fuel door, and along jack points
interior and exterior are worn, although far from terrible. 6/10 probably, needs a detail and leather conditioning. mostly just tears at the seams but a few rips
the window regulator bushings (the little round plastic pieces) broke in both rear windows. motors work but it pops off the track without them and I don't know where to get them
Reason for selling:
I finished school and am looking for an e46 to daily with something like a turbo miata as a fun car.
Please ask any and all questions, I know the car pretty well and should be able to tell you everything. I'm sure there's a few things I'm forgetting, both good and bad, so please ask.
