Confirm OEM wheel?

I have a set of Style 172 wheels, which I thought were OEM. I tried to sell them and the buyer wouldn't go through with the sale because it wasn't marked OEM BMW on the back of the wheel. Are these wheels replicas if they don't have "OEM BMW" stamped on them? I've never seen that before, so I was a little surprised that he considered them to be replicas. They appear to be replicas.

There have very different markings. I can find the number 96702 related to this style wheel in a Google search, but a lack of a 7 or 11 digit OEM part number tells me they're not genuine.
