Can anyone that has a DICE unit using the USB port tell me if there is any solution for the unit intermittently losing its memory of the last USB track played when the key is turned off? I’ve tried my best to contact the DICE folks but I’m not getting any solutions.

I'm curious about this too.

Only one other DICE USB user?

I have no clue but as a guess I would say it's resetting on losing power so maybe keep it powered up? I doubt it's much of a drain (usb mp3 players can run off of very small supplies).

I just went and put my meter inline with the dice power feed, it measures ~29 milliamps. I thought turning the radio off may make it low since the unit wouldn't have to be working, but it only dropped to 28.96.

I don't know how you calculate the length of time a load can draw on a battery before it dies though, so someone else would have to say if 29 milliamps between car usage is a bad thing or not heh.

There are two power sources involved. The power at the CD wiring is on all the time and connects to the DSP adapter and the other power to the DICE units is switched as specified in the DICE installation manual.

The tech support at DICE is nonexistent.
