I tend to believe actual ingredients rather than these bogus tests

I know for fact, after doing my own research that Chevron Techron, Valvoline COmplete Fuel System Cleaner, Redline SI-1 and Gumout Regane contain Polyether Amines (PEAs), which actually do clean fuel systems. I've never been able to confirm for myuself that Amsoil does also but if I had to guess, their reputation precedes them and they probably do apply it

MSDS for Valvoline (30-40%PEA)

MSDS for Redline SI1 (30-50% PEA)

I stick with Gumout because it's cheaper and its concentrations are higher than Chevron. Chevron used to apply ~30% PEA but I can't find a more recent MSDS. It's very possible and likely they cheapened out now and don't provide a declaration on their MSDS because PEA is not technically hazardous so they don't have to declare it

Gumout I think beats all the others in terms of active ingredient $/fl.oz

so there you go...facts over conjecture, marketing fluff and hearsay.....aside from me not being able to dig up Gumout's MSDS and just speaking from recent memory
