Ok I'm mobile and my laptop is dead. Sorry for another electric fan question but I just need to ask a couple of questions.
What CFM is sufficient for the electric fan to replace the faan clutch assembly?
- Autozone sells one that's 1500 cfm, with the relay/wiring that attach via a sensor through the radiator. $120 for everything.
If that radiator sensor isn't enough or just not functional, where can I tap into a hot source?
- Darth mentioned an AC wire in a previous posting, but my laptop is dead. Any diagrams would be highly appreciated.
Can I simply remove the non-functioning aux fan to allow for additional air flow?
- Seems like it's in the way since it's not working at all. Ohh I forgot to mention tht the fan shroud is gone, destroyed by the fan. In the process, it broke off a blade and I'm currently running a fan from an e36...don't scold me, I'm working w what I've got. :)
