Bosch 13559 is the OEM plug in for the front correct?

all 4 are the same save for wire length.

the Googles tell me the 13559 has a wire length of 13.4 inches (340mm) but the parts diagram says 370mm for the front O2 sensors.....The parts diagrams from my experience include the connector in the wire length measurement but other places do not

so yes is your answer...get some 13559 and be happy

How does one know if your O2 sensor is bad? Do you get a code of some sort? Does the "CHECK ENGINE" come on? Any indication? Enquiry mind wants to know. Thank you.

The check engine light will come on if the O2 heating element malfunctions or the sensor voltage is very, very off (read: out-of-bounds). Other than that, probably not.

For a more sure way of checking your sensors, a nice EasyDIS/INPA diagnostic setup will tell you real-time O2 sensor feedback voltage. See this screencap I took yesterday:

From what I've seen on the ones that are half price, the sensor itself is compatible but you have to reuse and splice in the old connector. You're probably looking at the "universal" one. The wiring is what's "universal".

Huh, everywhere I've looked says 13559 is for 98 and after. Even the Bosch site. pre 98 seams to be 13477. Perhaps its just wire length.

Well I searched and couldn't find anything covering this in previous threads so I decided to answer my own question today:

Bosch 13477
Overall

Sensor Head: (LSH25)

Bosch 13559:

Sensor Head: (LSH25)

Lenght: (370mm)

OEM Sensor: (M54B25)

Lenght: (320mm with LSH25 Sensor Head)
http://images43.fotki.com/v1330/photos/9/925706/6804882/OEM320mm-vi.jpg

Conclusion:
All the Bosch/OEM O2 sensors above are utilizing the same LSH25 Bosch sensor head and the only difference between each is the length of the sensors lead & price. So when shopping for your replacement I would recommend purchasing which every is least expensive in your local market.

Yes. Not drastic but definitely noticeable. My old ones were nasty.
