They seem to have done away withe 306° cam and gone for this new 302°. I'd be interested to know the finer differences between the two.

Interesting, I'm running their 306 cam and love it. With batch fire injection or carbs it has a lumpy idle but not that bad. Sequential fuel makes this cam idle just about as well as stock.

I doubt you would notice any different between the 302 and 306 without the use of a dyno.

Ireland is into racing 2002's so I am sure they have done a lot of homework and testing on this one. Also as business goes it is never a good idea (if you have any honor) to never just flat copy another's design.

I like the price!

Yeah, price is certainly appealing. The further up the schrick scale you seem to get, the most expensive they get! Still though, a better comparison still, the spec difference between the original 304° Schrick and the Ireland researched 302-306 series. I think in our cam guide on that spreadsheet that Milotrain posted up it stated all the specs but I think the measurements were in a different form or something. It was a touch confusing.

Actually, Steve, whilst I have your attention, do you mind me asking what your AFR was at idle when you were running batchfire? Just curious to get a ballpark.

Has anyone come across an answer on why they dropped the 306 cam?
