WANTED: BMW under $5000

I've been having terrible luck with the dealerships around Chicago. A lot of e36's with nothing but problems.

I figured I'd pop in on here and see if anyone is interested in cash for their BMW. I want something that works, and can be used as a daily driver. My budget for now is at a max of $5k....I'd rather not spend that on one of these dealer cars because I know I'll have some work to do.

This will be my second BMW, only because I HAD to sell the first one (2000 323ci Sport). I was moving back from Cali (lost my job), and couldn't ship the car back because I couldn't afford it. I was furious. Anyways, manual or automatic. Preferably manual.

I have a red '89 325 ix coupe automatic with a rebuilt motor and new OEM exhaust as of April with 166,000 located in VA. daily driver. Asking $6k. Interior is nearly perfect. No cracks or stretch marks on front or rear seats (tan leather). Would consider 5k if this is something that you really want. seatejl@gmail.com
