Here's my situation. My EDC shocks are gone. I can get a complete set of used shocks for $1,400 compared to a single new front one for $1,400 plus 13% tax. How long will a used set last for is anyone's guess.
My other option is to go with an aftermarket set and delete the EDC function which i never cared for. The thing is that i will need a lot of coaching on purchasing the correct set up and also some guidance around the installation. I have been actively reading the posts as they pop up concerning replacing with non EDC shocks but none have been conclusive. I would also love to drop the car a bit. Can you guys please provide some input on this issue. Thanks.

Get rid of the headache of the EDC and delete the system.

Get a set of Bilsteins all around and compliment them with H&R Stage II's or Eibach Sports.

IMO the EDC system is the best function on the car, but if you don't like it, go for the delete. ;)

And please cut open the old shocks to show us how they accually work.

This is a very high level plan. I need lots of details and part numbers from someone knowledgeable who will basically need to hold my hands and walk me through this. However it sounds like the way i prefer to go.
