confusion reigns supreme

I did a bunch of test drives yesterday at the bmw olympic event. I thought the 2013 328 sedan with the f30 body drove significantly better than the 2012 convertible which is the e93 body. The bmw rep told me that the 2013 convertible will be the f30 body style. This seems contrary to what I have read online. Does anyone know for sure what body style the 2013
328 convertible is? You would think that when selling a car for 50k they might be able to give accurate information. Thanks for your help.

F30 Vert will not be here until 2014 ( F33 ) it will stay on the E93 platform until then.
Over the past few 3 series generations ( E30-E90 ) BMW has keept the last gereration platforms for at least one model year.

The coupe has not been unveiled yet and the vert usually follows the coupe or comes around the same time. Could be a late 2012 production of a 2013 model though, BMW has pulled some surprises before.

I spoke with BMW finance today and I was told the following without hesitation:
Production on the E93 will stop October 2013. Orders should start to be accepted Jan 4014 with a Feb 2014 launch and a March delivery.
