BLEMISH DETAILS:

FLYWHEELS will show color blemishes in the blue anodizing - they may be lighter or darker in color or show inconsistencies in finish. As the blue anodizing is only a cosmetic coloring, these blemishes do not affect performance.

SWAYBAR KITS will show minor chips or scratches in the silver powdercoat finish. The powdercoat is a cosmetic coating, blemishes will not affect performance.

SHIFT KNOBS will show scratches or scuffs. For the enterprising person, a little bit of work with steel wool or a scotchbrite pad will restore the appearance.

What does a UUC blemish look like?

That's the #1 question we've been getting all week with our "Blemished Blowout", getting perfectly good product with slight cosmetic imperfections out of our warehouse.

Here's what you can expect from one of our blemished E36 or E46 swaybars:

Just a few inconspicuous nicks in the silver powdercoat. The bar pictured is literally the worst one we have.

What about E30?

E30 swaybars have the positive-stop ring. During post-finishing transport, this ring sometimes contacts the ring on the bar next to it and the powdercoat gets chipped. This E30 bar is likewise the absolute worst one we have.

As stated on our website, these cosmetic imperfections absolutely do not degrade product performance or longevity, full warranty still applies.

EVERYTHING that UUC sells is designed to be an upgrade over stock... that's the whole idea of a performance part! :D

Upgraded swaybars give you flatter cornering, a more neutral chassis (less understeer), and better chassis control.

and are the e36 M3 sway bars an upgrade over stock?

I just installed the UUC front sway bar and it changed my car, for the better.

I have H&R OE springs and Konis, but the steering still felt sloppy. I changed every part of the front end and no luck. My friend suggested a larger front sway and the car feels tighter, doesn't lean like it did and it is so much fun to drive now.

I haven't played with the settings on the bar, but it is on full stiff and I probably won't change it.
