Anyone know if the 2001 E38 comes pre wired for the sunshade. Just doing my research.

I have heard that some e38's had a manual rear sun shade. Hard to believe the 2001's did not have electric as a standard feature. Do you have one without the button?

Yea the car im parting out has it and im planning on doing this mod. I have to check if my '01 is pre wired for it.

Nope, it's an option. OP, have you checked the fuses to see of maybe one is for that? Would that be an indication of pre wiring?
