I managed to find myself a caramel interior, and I need to move my original.
The car is a 2002 E39 M5 with extended leather. This means sport seats, full leather doors, etc.
The leather was looking a little tired, and until recently I was unable to find a caramel for my car. As a result, last month it was professionally refinished. Cracks were filled and almost the entire interior was re-dyed. It looks like a 50K mile car again inside. Now I find what I want. Murphy's law.
Available as a whole package:
- Front sport seats, all motors and lumbar work perfectly.
- Rear split folding seats with Ski pass.
- Lower dash pieces and glovebox.
- Full center console with lower console forward leather pieces. Standard sliding phone armrest (no phone).
- All four door panels
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS BLACK LEATHER.
THERE HAS BEEN ENOUGH INTEREST IN THIS TO CONSIDER BREAKING UP THE SET.
This does not include any trim. I am not selling the headliner. At this point, I am not interested in parting this out unless I have buyers for everything all at the same time.
The interior as it sits is a solid 7.5-8/10. There are some issues, and although minor, I want to disclose them up front.
The passenger seat lower lateral switch cover was probably broken off at one point, and rather than fix it properly, it has been bolted to the seat frame by the PO. It does not affect function, but it is kind of ugly with the random bolt. Replacement trim comes in a set for both seats for less than $60 on ebay. I just never got around to fixing it.
The driver's door panel must have been loose at one point as well, as the PO decided to screw the panel to the door with a metal finishing screw near the A pillar. It is only visible when the door is open as the part in question is hidden behind the dash when the door closes.
in addition, the driver's door panel has a depression in the top of the panel where the PO would apparently rest his elbow while driving. It's nothing major, but an imperfection nonetheless.
Other than that, there are only minor scuffs and things, and far fewer than you might expect for a 10 year old car.
Local pickup only at this point, located in North County San Diego.
Interior is still in the car at this point, so any immediate deals will take a couple of days to execute.
Asking $1450 OBO. This is a steal, I just want to cover my expenses on the swap and would rather this move quick...
At this point, I have enough interest in separates to consider breaking it up....
Please PM if interested
