What are the best mods for the 05/06 supercharged Mini Cooper S ?

Please answer using definition of best as "bang for your buck".

Thanks

15, 16, or 17% supercharger pulley
cold air intake, preferably one that insulates
cat-back exhaust

in that order, or all at once

How much hp does that deliver ?

Every car is different...do a baseline dyno run before you change anything, then you can either dyno after each mod or after all three mods to see where it jumped to.

pulley is a no brainer. pick your %. if you plan on tracking the car, lean towards 15%. too much reduction leads to high IAT and water pump cavitation if beat upon on the track. Intakes make the car sound better (different). but add little to the power at the wheels. Headers and cat-back's will help, but not transform the car into a world beater. it is a 1.6 L motor. have fun with it......

Hands down the supercharger pulley (http://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-pulley-package.html) is the best bang for the buck =15-20hp. much more torque. Then intake, exhaust, and tuning.

That does look like a decent mod.

this mod applicable to 05/06 models only? not 02-04?

I like the 22mm rear swaybar to. For normal street use, 19mm might be adequate.

Applies to all factory supercharged MINIs.

Yes!...the 22mm is awesome, great suspension mod!

Pulley, CAI, and exhaust are good suggestions. Also, get RMW to tune it. If funds are limited, skip exhaust and get a tune instead. My power mods include pulley, CAI, and tune which gives me 195hp.

I think everyone covered the power stuff well, bang for back is pulley + tune. If you want to look at the other parts of the car, I would suggest the following.

Set toe to 0 front and rear (this really wakes up the steering! when i drove a stock aligned car i thought it was broken after getting used to mine, because the steering was so slow haha)
Lightweight wheels (esp. if you have S-Lites) something like a 225/45/15 on 15x8 is pretty fun setup, there are some good 17" setups too
Camber plates and set them at a minimum of -2

Both should make a huge difference in the grip/handling. Depends on if you are doing track vs autoX vs street as to if something like brakes is worth it or picking between 15 vs 17 for wheels etc

All good suggestions, I would add water injection to the list..
