I have a 2006 325i that I'm putting aftermarket wheels on and new tires. My low tire pressure indicator light came on last week and I realized that I had a tire that was losing air and needed replaced. This was the excuse that I've been waiting for to get new tires and wheels. My car has 255 40 17 tires on it now and I've already purchased replacement tires of the same size. I've found the aftermarket wheels that I want and have verifyed that they have the same bolt pattern, offset, etc and they they will fit on my car. I have 2 questions....
1-Is there a way to bypass or disable the low pressure indicator since (i dont' think) it will work with these aftermarket wheels?
2-Is there anything else I should consider before I go with these aftermarket wheels? Just want to make sure that I'm not overlooking something.
Thanks!
