@60 MPH (or so) I get a shimmy in the steering. This has been going on for several weeks. I figured it would be a good time to rotate the tires to see if it was an out of round tire or perhaps a wheel weight had fallen off.
I got quite a surprise when I found my front passenger side tire had literally worn out ACROSS the tread in a six inch wide area. (An area slightly larger than most people's palm.)
I took a picture that clearly shows the wear, but because I'm a "Newbe" I can't post pictures on this site. (thanks so very much, Bimmerforums!)
Anyway, I'm thinking I must have a warped rotor- what else can it be?

TIA, -and yes- I realize that tire didn't have much life left anyway!
