long sad story short. i fell at work and landed on my bad knee. making clutching unbearable. which really means i will probably need surgery on it again. (already had it once) the car was parked close to a month and i took it out yesterday to wash it and keep it moving but no bueno. there goes my summer :(

Thank goodness it's only your body, I thought something had happened to the car. Body parts will grow back, car parts do not. :D
Get well soon!

Scott,
I hear that Bosch and Bilstein are collaborating on designing 100% drive by cerebral wire prosthetic knee down devices. There'll be available in either a Heavy Duty or Sport iteration with a life time guarantee. The pre programmed Toe 'n' Heel app will only cost an extra 200 Euros on the RHD leg. Of course, you'll have to get your current inferior carbon based appendage(s) lopped off but you're going in for surgery anyway and, wait, come to think of it, a real DIYer would just pull out a bottle of Wild Turkey (internal & external application) and the Milwaukee Sawzall and get 'er done....save a shite load of money and not bother with that finicky, time consuming nitpicking arthroscopic procedure.
So hang in there and don't succumb to hebetation or become idiotropic over this unfortunate incident.

sprained my left ankle four weeks ago; had to drive the Touring to Chicago, realising how very much I really like that car as well...
