I've searched and searched the forums and I can't find a single thread addressing this topic so, I thought I'd ask here.

I have a staggered set of style 32 wheels 17x8 fronts/17x9 rears. ET20/ET26. These came off of an e39. I want to run these on my e36 - I already have the hub rings and I know that I need to have my fenders rolled.

My question is this: For the guys who have fitted these rims, What tires did you run? What worked? What didn't work? Pics would be greatly appreciated.

I know that a lot of guys have run this setup, I've seen tons of pics. There's just not a lot of info on how it was done.

Thanks

is your car lowered? i test fitted the style 32's on my car when i had a set and i was dropped on H&R race springs. i ran a 225/45 rear and a 215/45 up front. the rears barely rubbed over rougher roads, but i didnt really have my fenders rolled all that much. up front was no issue. then i opted for 17x7.5's with 235/40's all around and couldnt be happier. i can attack any road.

I have a z3m coupe and have been looking for a stagged set of 32's in the size/offset you have. If you decide to sell them let me know, I'd be interested as I know they will fit nicely on my car without spacers.

Or... I have a set of contour reps 17x8.5 with a 40 or 43 offset square on my car now, freshly powdercoated metallic midnight blue/black, really cool color. The fronts have a few chips in the paint from falling over once when I swaped to my track set up, not curb rash, just a few chips in the powder coat, That was an easy touch up with black, not at all noticable unless you know and are looking for it . The backs have wider tires which protects them and are mint.
I might be willing to trade these for the 32's.
Here is a pic. I know these would fit your car perfectly.
