Looking for fixer upper

Last week I was diagnosed with curable brain tumor. However, my summer is ruined due to the drugs I need to take to cure it. So I had to quit my summer job and will be bored to death. I am looking for a car I can work on (fixer upper) to keep my mind on something other than my illness.

I would like to work on a E36. Does anyone have a inexpensive E36 that they would consider selling? It doesn't have to work. I can tinker with it.

I have a E39 540, but my parents wont let me experiment with working on it since it works well.
