I decided a few weeks ago to get new wheels for my '09 335i base. I must have chosen 20 different styles in that time, not to mention several different tires.
So far at least:
CSL, Miro 111, VMR 710, Avant Garde 310, type 189's, type 199's, type 287's, type 203's, M3 reps, M5 reps, M6 reps, 550i reps, generic wheels like the AG310 ($650 off the bay)...
I waiver between 18" and 19". I read that 19s look strange if you don't lower (which I won't), and that they bend easily, and the DC area is full of potholes.
Damn, this is tiring, and I haven't even tried convincing my wife yet :D.

Happy with my 18" CSL reps here, and they are damn sturdy too. Swiped a curb at 40mph or so and bent the control arms, but only cosmetic damage to the wheels.

Those look good. What off-set are they?

My sig has all the details :). They are a bit aggressive for the LCI, I notice a bit of rubbing in the back on large road dips. I think they revised the offsets for the LCI model (I got those for my pre-LCI e90). Check with modbargains, they know their stuff, that's were I got them.

CSLs and similar style wheels look at home on the E90. I think the Alzor 718s (similar to the M double spoke 172 from the E60) as well as the 702s and the 716s would all look great on the E90.

I am a dealer of VMR. VMR wheels are strong, well built and have long lasting finishes and are the biggest bang for the buck. Let me know if you want a set. I will give you a great price.
