I'm not looking to slam my car. But I need springs and I want it lowered. More in the front than the back. The normal aggressive look. I'm just not to sure as to which set of springs will ride better. Eibach sport springs (which I see on Ebay for 224 all day long), or the Bav springs. Which are priced at 224. The car has struts that are about a year old. So no need to change them. But the springs are worn. Any deep dip. And she bottoms out. Even with one passenger.

It's been a long while since I've seen anyone talking about BavAutos, but from what I remember, they get you pretty low, for springs that is. They're also very soft. The handling won't be phenomenal compared to stock. If you don't change struts/shocks, it'll be like stock + a bit of tightness and lower.
It seems to me, from my own experience and pictures posted by other members, that Vogtlands give you the most rake, or "aggressive look". Also, IIRC BavAutos have a tendency to bottom the car out a good bit.

Bavautos are completely junk. I traded them for a case of beer.

They (Bav auto) send me these dam books all the time. And they had a special on them for 200 bucks. So I was curious. I'm glad I got some insight. Because clueless I am.

I got my car with a fresh set of Bav auto springs and kyb's.. The combo is a little stiffer ride than stock ( but not much ). The drop is definitely lower than others ( close to 2" in front over an inch rear) but less rake, more level looking..

I liked the eibach's in my e28, and multiple other makes, better for handling/ stiffness..

Interested in lowtec 60/40 as a near future upgrade.......

I had bavautos. They were very low, very soft, and bottomed a lot. I sold them to a member on here with full disclosure of that, he seems happy with them though. I have H&Rs with very firmly damped, custom valved bilsteins now (much nicer!).

I would skip the bavauto springs.

Much appreciated. I reckon the Eibach's will be a better option.
