Hey guys im looking at putting a set of AMG wheels on my e46 i got handed to me, so question is they are 9.5x18 rear and 8.5x18 front. i check the rears and with the stretch they should fit perfect(running 215 tires all the way around). has anyone ever seen a front 8.5 width with a ET of 10 work with stretched tires? it would be a 215 on a 8.5 normal offset on the wheel is 25 but with adapters at 15mm it would be at 10. Has anyone done it or something close to it or has any advice on if it may work or not?
thanks

I never ran more than ET40 on my prior E46 and would think you'd need some serious fender work, a stretched tire and lots of negative camber to get an ET10 wheel to fit. It's probably been done before and I'm sure it looks great to those who like that sort of thing, but personally I prefer driving a car that can take a turn at over 10mph without trying to kill me.

haha yea that's the only thing is it would be stanced fitment for shows, but daily driving would be crazy. i have took some thought into it and i don't think it will fit even with stretch on the front.

For what it's worth, I briefly ran 16x8 et15 with 225/50/16 (which is quite a chunky setup) on my e46 with the factory sport suspension. Did not rub.

I honestly think with something like 205s on the front you wouldn't have any issue ... the rear ... you'd probably at the very least have to roll the arches and run something like a 215.
