Due to tire rubbing, I need to lift the rear of my E36 325ic by an Inch. Please hold back the hate - I can't believe I'm asking this either. I'm hoping someone might be able to recommend some coil\spacers I can use and remove in the future? I have searched but it doesn't seem like a common question. And I know for a fact the springs on Convertibles are different then Coupes and Sedans.

I have always ran 225/55/16 tires all around with No problem. Suspension is all newer, OEM spec. These past 6-7 Months I killed 2 complete sets of tires and had 2 alignments done. I finally stopped getting rotations and it was clear my Rear trailing arm bushings were bad by the fact my Front tires stayed perfectly fine and the rears were evenly bald after 5-7k miles. I replaced the RTABs and I bought some 225/60/16 Toyo Tourevo LS tires from my buddy which he used for less then 2k miles. Mainly because they were super cheap and I didn't want to spend even more money on good tires to see if my issue is gone.. Somehow, these damn 225/60 Toyos are rubbing like crazy in the Rear. I never had rubbing issues At All but somehow the extra +5mm is too much. At this point, I just need a short break from spending hundreds of dollars a month on Tires and Tire Work. I could probably roll my fenders but it seems so extreme and permanent.

Thank You!:help

what are you doing putting on 225/55 or 225/60 tires? you should be on 225/50/16s. that's your problem...or at least one of them.

Its all I've ever put on my car with 0 issues. Its what I still have on the Front. Seems like many E36 drivers use 225/55/16.

Ended up finding what I was looking for. These (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/SPR4/181901.oap?ck=Search_18-1901_-1_2611&keyword=18-1901) did the job and only raised the rear by 3/4-inch. The only difference I notice when driving is now the tires don't rub at all.
