I've recently pick up a 95 e36. It's supposed to have an s52 with an m50 manifold, has a red label 413 dme with an aa tune, 3.5 maf with cai intake, pink injectors and a 3.91 diff. But, the oil filter housing is plastic instead of metal. So I'm not 100% on the swap. I haven't check the block yet to see what the numbers say. The car does pull much faster than my last two e36's. but that could just be because of the diff. I'm trying to diagnose my fuel consumption problem, high idle problem and car cut off problem. When ever I drive the car for more than an hour and a half straight. I get a check engine light an lost of power. Can't rev the car past 3500 rpms. If I cut the car off during this problem. I can not get her to turn over and start for at least 30 min. When I do get her to start, the check light goes off after about 10 miles and the car drives good. I think that problem may be the crankshaft sensor, but I'm not 100% on that. My question is, how can I find out what tune I have and if its for the "upgrades" i have. The numbers on the dme cover say, 0 261 200 413 and the chip on the inside says, aa tuning FLX3.AAFECD.
