I am assembling a M3 track day car for a friend. I was given a box of springs from which to choose and I am trying to find the rates in something I can understand...lb/in. I have the following:

Eibach rear: 191062 2017401

Front 202004 2034.002

H &R Group G: front 100kp/cm

rear 100kp/cm and 140kp/cm

Can anyone give me the rates for these springs? Thanks, Chuck

1 kilopound (kp) is equal to 9.81 Newtons, which in Earth's gravitational field, is approximately equal to 2.2 pounds.

Therefore, 100 kp/cm x 2.2 lbs/kp x 2.54 cm/in = 558.8 lb/in

140 kp/cm x 2.2 lbs/kp x 2.54 cm/in = 782.3

Outstanding...been way too long since college.

Anyone have any idea about the Eibachs? Chuck

Not sure what those numbers mean on the Eibachs. Anymore info on them?
