and of course a low Et on the rims ;)
Most people with 19's on an e36's are running 19x8.5's with 235/35/19's all around, offset is up to you, I'd keep it pretty high unless you are into fender rolling or the wide body thing.

The offset is an 38 and I do plan to roll fenders if I have to.

egk2,
That's the setup I'm looking at running (19x8.5s w/235/35s). The rims I'm looking at have an et of 38. Do you think I'll get away without rolling the fenders? I'll do it if I have to, but would rather know about it beforehand. Thanks!
What suspension are you running? I was on 18x8.5's et38 with 235/40/18's all around previously and was rubbing slightly in the rear, now I'm on 19x8.5's et43mm and 235/35/19's with no rubbing whatsoever. Rolling the rear fender lips is no big deal anyway, you can just rent the tool or use a louisville slugger.

I haven't changed out the suspension yet, but I will be running either H&R race, or sports, depending on which one I can still get into my driveway with. Also have Koni Sport adjustables.
I wouldn't worry about it, I know people running BBS CH's 19x8.5 et 35 which is really agggressive, they just roll the fenders and that's that, just be careful when you do it or have a good body shop do it.
